On Track - this series is a short review of where we are. Enjoy.
OK - that's really not meant to be funny, but it sort of is. Well, let me put it this way. Now that I'm coming out of my financial/emotional horror, it's funny; when you're smack dab in the middle of it - it's horrifying.
Can't figure out where to start cause things are so confusing....well the first place you start is with a challenge or a quest. Quest sounds sort of King-Arthur-ish, so I like challenge better.
What sort of challenge are you presented with things go to hell in a hand basket? Lots. As I mentioned in part of the "Blossoming" series in starting out, you have to get your mind and spirit in the right state before you can start.
Once you do, then you are going to start asking yourself some questions like: "How did I get here?" "What could I have done differently?" "Is there a terrible flaw here I/we could have avoided to prevent this mess up?" "Wonder what I could do to avoid that?" "This would be a better way to do this, than what was done."
You see what happens....from questions about where you are, you naturally go to questions about how to fix it, or sometimes to see that this isn't even where you want to be - you would so much rather be an artist...a writer....a stock broker...a banker....a financial manager - whatever. But this horrifying mess has put a stop on your life so that you can ask these questions.
This is the beginning of the quest (oh sorry, I promised not to say that word)....er....I mean challenge or even better "adventure". And this adventure is going to be tons better than Indian Jones!
Next is what to do with that challenge!
