....brings good feelings back to you.
This makes little or no pragmatic sense. Where does it come from. You send something out, it ain't coming back. When you pay bills, the money goes out and more bills keep coming in. That's just the way of the world.
The naysayers love this one. Their rebuff is: "Look you send something out, it does not come back. Life is not a boomerang. And if it does come back, it won't come back to you. It will go to another person." This is what we can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.
What we can't prove is that more often than not, this actually is true. We have to take this on faith.
In addition, blessing does something magical. When you bless something that goes out, it does come back to you with added interest.
Ancient Jewish Kingdom was very wealthy when the Jews gave to their synagogues and often gave a "blessing" gift or a "pre-blessing" gift before they were to take on some great project or endeavor. It's when they stopped giving to the synagogues that the kingdom lost its wealth.
What you give, comes back. When you are sending out signals of failure and doom and gloom, that is what will be returned to you. When you send out feelings of thanks for the prosperity and abundance that you are receiving, that's what you get back.
Some wonderful meditations to use when paying bills are: Bless the money going and and asked that it be returned 100 times or 1,000 times what is sent out.
This may sound slightly daffy, but it works. You do not need to worry where the money is coming from. You do not need to worry that the economy is bad or that there doesn't seem to be any practical way that this is a reasonable request. You also don't need to worry that there is a "set" amount of prosperity and abundance out there, and it will be all used up by the time you get in line. There is amble prosperity and abundance for everyone - this is God's abundance that he means you to have.
