I can't believe I've gone this far and haven't talked about this.
This is another one of those proven laws that is a given. IOW, it's not theoretical or been expounded upon as theory, it's actually been proven.
The most striking example I can think of is the formation of the solar system and solar systems in general. Solar systems for out of gases and debris in space. Pretty soon the debris begins to collect and stick together then as it does the debris begins to swirl around the center of the mass, and that debris begins to collect in the spirals out from that mass....in our solar system, the Sun was the mass that everything swirled around. After that smaller masses begin to form from the debris in the swirls of masses that the Sun attracted forming the planets and asteroids, moons and "little planets".
These were not formed from "dark matter" and particles and light and other things - particles attracted particles only. Like attracts like.
This is one of the main tenants of the techniques that I talk about on this blog. Things that are alike attract each other. So if you are thinking that you will receive more bad news, you will get bad news. If you are thinking that you are prosperous and enjoying the bounty of this Earth, you will do that.
The Law of Attraction is one of those things that sounds good, then upon further examination really does pan out. Even some of the debunkers of The Secret and other positive-thinking techniques, will admit that the Law of Attraction works, even if they don't believe the tenants as described in The Secret, Catherine Ponder and other authors, philosophers and teachers.
Debunkers, etc., will be the subject of another post, but for now, it's good to look at the Law of Attraction.
This law states that like attracts like. At the most basic level, the universe, with thousands of particles, no suns, planets, moons, asteroids or anything else, just particles in a "cloud of gases", the Law of Attraction kicks in and particles began to coalesce. The larger bodies (that have attracted more particles) begin to have greater gravitational pull and attract more. But eventually a large mass is formed at the center (so large that the gravitational pull is so intense that the pressure of the gravity creates heat and it "burns")....further out, other smaller bodies have coalesced but are bound, by the Law of Attraction, to orbit the larger body, and eventually will all fall into the center, and upon doing so will cause an explosion and spewing the particles that made up the solar system through out space once again to coalesce into a solar system to collapse upon itself, explode, coalesce, collapse, explode, etc.
This is the natural pulse of life - the breathing in and out, the ebb and flow of the tide the coalescing and collapse of solar systems and universes (with the later taking a long, long time!) The Law of Attraction is a natural law. It governs not just the universe and space, but also the Earth...like attracts - this is what explains gravity - this is why the Earth rotates around the Sun, why the Moon rotates around the Earth.
It is also why like feelings attract like feelings. It is why bad feelings bring about more bad feelings and bad results. It is why good feelings bring about good results, and more good feelings bring about even more good results. The life you are living now, is a result of the feelings you have had in the past. So to have those successes you want in the future, you have to believe. These beliefs give you feelings of success, joy, health that bring about the results you want.
We are here on this Earth not as physical beings having a spiritual experience every once in a while, but as spiritual beings having a physical experience. That puts a new perspective on things!
Once you understand that we are spiritual beings, feelings become paramount in the make-up of our lives. Those people who do not accept, realize or understand that we are spiritual beings are often left living lives of quiet desperation, because there is so much void (without the spirit), that there is very little of the experience here on Earth left - the physical experience is so translucent, temporary and transitional, that there is very little to grab onto - their life is dim, thin and very limited at best.
To the contrary is a life fulfilled, joyful, satisfying, thankful, knowledgeable, loving, in great part due to the Law of Attraction. How can we not want to be a part of this? It is so simple. You do not need to have the massive knowledge of all of mankind....you need faith and the sense that you can make your life anything you want it to be.
