Little kids

Having never had a child, and now having the treat to experience babies - albeit from afar, I'm a bit overwhelmed and having way too much fun with this.  My very good friend, is having his first grandbaby, and I get to participate.  So of course, this has been cooking inside me for a very long time, and I've gone totally overboard!

The mommy loves animals, so I picked out some dog/cat fabric.  The yellow fabric on the outside is "woof woof" with "meow" mixed in.  My original thought was yellow - that way it can be used again.  The basket has a little mattress, pillow and comforter with a blue inside hood and details are my trademark. I love details!

As if this wasn't meant to be - I found these darling cute heart buttons.  Wooden with painted surface.

And here's the little special on the inside of the hood.  I know babies can't read, it's just meant to be whimsically cute!

So how can a little baby be expected to be in that Moses basket all by him/herself....well, it shouldn't be.....so here's some company - a little cat, teddy & rabbit.

Give 'em an inch - they'll take a mile....now we're all snuggled in!!!

And here it is all ready to be shipped!  The hardest part for me - to let go!!!
